Following this, he went on to accept a retail management position at a liquor store and played an instrumental role in boosting their sales by 35%. These triumphs helped him realize his true business potential and nurtured his entrepreneurial drive. Disheartened by the lack of growth, Roderick decided to make a transition to an industry of his choice and went on to serve as a high-end Stereo Retailer. Being a lifelong audiophile, Roderick M. Mason relished this opportunity to serve in the audio industry and worked relentlessly to achieve success as a retailer. Gradually climbing the proverbial ladder of success, he was approached by a fellow audiophile who pitched him an idea to open an independent audio store. However, this endeavor failed to flourish and he had to leave behind the audio industry to pursue opportunities in different fields. Roderick went on to become a Certified Personal Trainer and was able to lead this endeavor to fruition with utmost devotion and tenacity. However, a ruptured appendix put his journey as a personal trainer to a halt as he spent two weeks on a hospital bed and had to give up training for the next three months. This was the start of new challenges as the next chapter of Roderick’s life had personal loss, adversity, and despair. His aunt suffered a stroke, and a month later he had to rush his father to the hospital. Roderick spent the next few weeks visiting his aunt in rehab, attending to his father, and fulfilling the responsibilities of the house. However, he was unable to continue his journey as a personal trainer as the death of his father struck him hard. Roderick left behind his role as a personal trainer and opened a commercial cleaning franchise. After operating this franchise for the next five years, he put it to a stop as he was unable to serve wholeheartedly. The quest for contentment and solace ultimately led him to the road of a corporate trainer. Roderick M. Mason became a certified John Maxwell Speaker Trainer Coach in the year 2015 and formulated Holistic Coaching Solution two years later. This was a part-time endeavor that became a full-time coaching solution in the year 2019. Today, Roderick is a thought leader & influencer who aspires to inspire the generations of today and tomorrow towards the road of business success.
